Want your audience to remember you?

Something for all marketers and videographers to read this year: One of my favourite books for people like us.

Lots of scribbles in the margins. Even King Bird loves it. ๐Ÿ‘‘

Contagious by Jonah Berger, published by Simon & Schuster UK.

I posted about this on my companyโ€™s twitter, but 280 characters isn't enough.

Three main takeaways:

1. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Word of Mouth - how did you hear about your hairdressers?

2. ๐Ÿ”˜ Triggers - does yodelling now remind you of Domino's?

3. ๐Ÿ“š. Stories - hide your message in one. It's more engaging.

I've been fascinated by triggers since reading this.

My mind darted to the TV show Lost, where they used the sound of a taxi receipt printer for the smoke monster, and a supermarket checkout beep for the hatch computer.

These are places where you have free time to talk... which leads to word of mouth...

What real-world triggers get you thinking of a product?
