"Highly engaging webinar" for creating your own video

In February, I was invited to lead a webinar for Agri-TechE’s ECIF (Early Career’s Innovators’ Forum), discussing how to tell a story with video, for those starting out wanting to share their stories online.

I crammed a lot into that hour! From how to plan your upcoming videos, to making your message crystal clear with editing.

Also, who knew I'd be so animated?! 🕺

Here’s the original event description:

Join us as we take you through the process of video making, from planning a story to shooting with your phone or webcam, and sharing with your professional community! Videos have become part of our everyday life and in the professional world, are an incredibly useful tool to tell a story, promote a project and share ideas with others in your community.

But where do you even get started on creating an impactful video that will capture an audience? In this webinar, we’ll take you through the whole process, from planning to shooting, editing and sharing. Along the way, we’ll provide you with tips and resources so that you can have a go independently with your phone or your webcam. With those newly gained storytelling and content creation skills, the possibilities are endless!

In the event, we took a video explaining ECIF from concept to completion, and I showed how to develop a script, tips for shooting, and how I’d approach the edit in post-production.

Agri-TechE were kind enough to post on Linkedin after the webinar:

Special thanks to Laura Bouvet, who also left me some kind words:

“Rob delivered a highly engaging, interactive and fun webinar on video storytelling. From start to finish, he kept our audience interested. There was lots of technical information, which Rob successfully pitched in a fun and accessible way to all. His humour, and authenticity resonated with many in the audience, and made for a fun hour of learning. Thank you Rob for delivering a fantastic webinar!”

If you’d like me to speak at your upcoming event about all things video for business, get in touch!
